HeroBeacon is operated by an individual. The contact address for every request below is privacy@herobeacon.live. On request to that address, the controller's full identity and country of residence will be supplied to a data subject or a supervisory authority within 30 days

How the device cookie measures visits
Session, referral, platform, language and theme cookies are strictly necessary or functional — they keep you signed in, remember preferences, or prevent abuse. The device-id cookie also measures the funnel: traffic source, campaign, locale, country and the pre-account steps you reach are recorded against it without asking for consent, as first-party audience measurement. No analytics-class cookie exists today — no vendor cookie is set, and none is gated
Managing analytics cookies
There is nothing to grant or refuse today: no analytics-class cookie is written. The consent banner and the settings control are both hidden until a vendor is adopted — a choice already stored in the analytics-consent cookie is still read back unchanged and takes effect that day
Clearing cookies
Clearing all cookies signs you out, forgets language and theme preferences, and resets analytics consent. The product cannot work signed in without the session cookie
